Boursorama to launch an online homeowner's insurance product

Boursorama, Société Générale's online bank, is introducing a homeowner's insurance product called "Alabri". The new service allows to underwrite a homeowner's insurance policy 100% online.

The customer can design an insurance policy tailored to his needs. The reference price, set at 4.2 EUR (4.9 USD) per month, applies to the nine coverages provided by the basic contract.

The basic coverage can be completed according to the specific needs of each customer: theft, glass breakage, electrical damage and freezer contents, and replacement value for objects.

The product also covers the monthly installments of the mortgage and personal construction loan underwritten by Boursorama in the event of a claim exceeding 20% of the total value of the insured goods.

Boursorama is already marketing an insurance of payment methods and personal effects, a pension insurance and a motor insurance.
