Bupa Arabia reported excellent results in 2019

Bupa ArabiaBupa Arabia Cooperative Insurance, has published its 2019 results. The net profit before zakat (tax) amounted to 712.7 million SAR (190 million USD) rising by 35.6% compared to 2018.

The written premiums reached 10.410 billion SAR (2.772 billion USD) increasing by 21.5% over twelve months. The net incurred losses rose by 14.2% from 6.788 billion SAR (1.807 billion USD) in 2018 to 7.749 billion SAR (1.864 billion USD) in 2019. The total assets which amounted to 8.271 billion SAR (2.201 billion USD) at the end of 2018 reached 10.181 billion SAR (2.711 billion USD) by late 2019, that is a 23.1% increase.

The shareholder’s equity grew by 17.8% in one year to 3.032 billion SAR (807.459 million USD). Ultimately, the ROE (return on equity) rose by 28%.
