Caarama Assurance posts good performances in 2017

Caarama Assurance, a subsidiary of the Compagnie Algérienne d'Assurance et de Réassurance (CAAR) specialized in life insurance, achieved in 2017 a turnover of 2.13 billion DZD (19.49 million USD).

This amount is higher than the estimates of the company which expected a maximum of 1.66 billion DZD (15.19 million USD), following the loss in 2016 of its first client: Sonatrach.

The diversification of the distribution channels (bancassurance, online portal) and of the products offered contributed to these results.
