Caarama Assurance started online payment

Caarama Assurance has developed a strategic partnership with Crédit Populaire d’Algérie. This agreement has paved the way for the online payment of insurance premiums for customers, holders of an inter-bank card (CIB). The service is, in the first place, dedicated exclusively to the underwriting of travel insurance contracts, an innovation that enables the company to get closer to its customers.

Thanks to the agreements signed with the Compagnie Algérienne d’Assurance et de Réassurance (CAAR), the Crédit Populaire d’Algérie and Bank ABC, Caarama Assurance is now endowed with a distribution network of nearly 200 agencies. This network supplements the underwriting offices under the direct authority of the insurer.

The turnover reported by Caarama Assurance, CAAR’s subsidiary, is of 2 billion DZD (18 million USD) in 2016, that is a 10% increase in comparison with 2015.
