CAAT: strong growth in 2015 net result

The Compagnie Algérienne des Assurances Transport (CAAT) has published its results for the year 2015.
Its net profit amounted to 2 billion DZD (18.8 million USD), that is an 33% increase in Algerian dinars Compared to 2014.

During the concerned year, the CAAT achieved a slight increase in its written premiums of 4% at 21 billion DZD (197 million USD).

With this turnover, the company ranked second on the Algerian market, after the Société Algérienne d'Assurance (SAA) and ahead of the Caisse Algérienne d'Assurance et de Réassurance (CAAR).

As a reminder, the company also carried out an increase of capital from 11.49 billion DZD (107.97 million USD) to 16 billion DZD (150.35 million USD) in 2015.
