CCR, 2017 results

The Compagnie Centrale de Réassurance (CCR) reported a net result of 2.9 billion DZD (25.31 million USD) in 2017, slightly down in comparison with the 3 billion DZD (27.25 million USD) posted in 2016.

The turnover amounts to 29.47 billion DZD (257.21 million USD), up by 8.3% in comparison with the previous year. Local business accounted for 87.2% of underwritings versus 12.8% for international business.

The Algerian reinsurer’s combined ratio amounted to 83.48% in 2017. It was 81% in 2016.
