China Life Insurance : 2020 results

China Life Insurance, China's leading life insurer, is closing the 2020 financial year with an 8% turnover increase amounting to 612.27 billion CNY (93.8 billion USD) against 567.086 billion CNY (81.15 billion USD) in 2019.

The net profit declined by 13.8% from 58.287 billion CNY (8.34 billion USD) in 2019 to 50.268 billion CNY (7.7 billion USD) as at 31 December 2020.

The net investment income stood at 162.783 billion CNY (24.93 billion USD) in 2020 compared to the 149.109 billion CNY (21.3 billion USD) recorded in 2019, showing an improvement of 9.1%.
