Chinese insurers affected by the depreciation of the local stock markets

Chinese insurers are reporting losses on the stock markets attaining a total of 120 million CNY (17.6 million USD). These depreciations result from the investments realized in newly-listed companies. Listings have, once again, been authorized by the supervisory authorities since mid 2009.
