Chinese insurers are planning to invest 100 billion USD beyond their borders

In response to the depreciation of the Yuan and in order to ensure more stable financial income in the long term, Chinese insurers have expressed their intention to increase their investments abroad.

With currently 2% of their assets placed abroad, the country's companies are planning, as authorized by the legislation, to raise this rate to 15% over the next three years, that is nearly 100 billion USD. The United States and Europe are among the most favoured destinations of the Chinese insurers.
