CICA revolutionizes motor compensation system

As of January 1, 2013, the victims of motor bodily injuries claims will no longer resort to the courts to obtain compensation in case of bodily injury. Now, thanks to the convention for the motor bodily compensation (CICA), the insured is refunded directly by its insurer. The latter then turns against the adverse faulty insurer.
This procedure has been approved by the insurance advisory committee. Compensation periods shall not exceed one month. CICA intervenes only in the event of accidents that result in bodily injury whose permanent disability is below 10%, that is 35% of the reports of motor bodily claims.
