CNAAS: share capital increase

The Compagnie Nationale d’Assurance Agricole du Sénégal (CNAAS) plans to increase its share capital from 1.5 billion FCFA (2.5 million USD) to 5 billion FCFA (8.3 million USD).

The Senegalese insurer specializing in agricultural risks is thus compliying with the April 2016 directive of the Interafrican Insurance Markets Conference (CIMA), which urges insurance companies to set up a share capital of 5 billion FCFA (8.3 million USD) in a period of five years.
