CNP Assurances: negative net inflows

CNP AssurancesBy late 2020, CNP Assurances posted a 17.3% decrease in turnover set at 26.956 billion EUR (33.1 billion USD) compared to 32.582 billion EUR (36.48 billion USD) in 2019.

The insurer recorded positive net inflows of 1.9 billion EUR (2.3 billion USD) for unit-linked contracts in France and negative inflows of 7.2 billion EUR (8.8 billion USD) for contracts denominated in euro.

The figures show a net outflow of 5.3 billion EUR (6.5 billi on USD) for the full year 2020 compared with net inflows of 300 million EUR (336 million USD) in 2019. Such decline is in line with the French market which shows a historical outflow of 6.5 billion EUR (7.9 billion USD) in 2020.

As of 31 December 2020, the Group's net result attributable to equity holders amounted to 1.35 billion EUR (1.65 billion USD): a 4.4% decline in comparison with the previous year. The Gross Operating Income (GOI) decreased by 14% to be established at 2.614 billion EUR (3.2 billion USD).

CNP's Board of Directors suggests the payment of a dividend of 1.57 EUR (1.92 USD) per share.
