Comar AssurancesCOMAR Assurances ended the year 2018 with a net result of 27.28 million TND (9.06 million USD), down by 16.03% compared to the 32.5 million TND (13.11 million USD) achieved in 2017. The total shareholder's equity before the year's result amounted to 198.45 million TND (65.93 million USD).

The gross written premiums reached 208.05 million TND (69.12 million USD), increasing by 8.18% in comparison with 2017: 204.38 million TND (67.9 million USD) for non-life insurance and 3.67 million TND (1.22 million USD) for life.

The non-life gross loss experience was of 145.37 million TND (48.3 million USD), sharply rising compared with 2017 (+24.8% for net transactions). Life benefits which amounted to 1.32 million TND (0.44 million USD) in 2018 were sharply declining in comparison with those reported one year earlier (-30.8% for net transactions).
