Compulsory listing for insurers

The Capital Market Authority (CMA) published a new regulation for insurance companies. They now have the obligation to be listed and have a minimum capital of 26 million USD.

These new requirements aim to enhance transparency within the market and to improve it.

As a reminder, the Omani market achieved a turnover of 950 million USD in 2013.
