Continental Re’s development plan crowned with success

The development plan designed by Continental Re has succeeded. The expansion strategy, started four years ago, is mainly focused on the establishment of subsidiaries or offices within main areas in the African continent. The opening of a subsidiary in Gaborone (Botswana) comes at the heart of this policy. Botswana, socially stable and economically prosperous, is a country located at the center of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

From this base, the Nigerian reinsurer has privileged access to the regional markets, and as such, hopes to take full advantage of the potential of growth offered by SADC. In Africa, Continental Re is henceforth present in six regional hubs: Lagos (Nigeria), Douala (Cameroon), Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire), Nairobi (Kenya), Tunis (Tunisia) and Gaborone (Botswana).
