Continental Re unveils the winners of the second edition of the Journalism Awards
Continental Re, the reinsurance company which organized the Journalism Awards, unveils the winners of the second edition of the event held on April 6, 2017 in Dakar, Senegal. Three awards have been presented:
Pan-African Re/Insurance Journalist of the Year prize was awarded to Gareth Stokes (South Africa) from Commercial Risk Africa for its article "Botswana in Search of Growth".
Josiane Kouagheu (Cameroon) was awarded the prize for Best Re/Insurance Industry Feature Article for her article "In Cameroon, agriculture does not attract insurers".
Finally, the price Best Re/Insurance Industry Analysis and Commentary was given to Isaac Khisa (Uganda) from Independent Publications for his article "Insurance industry tops Shs 700bn".
