Coronavirus: Bankruptcies to increase in 2021

According to credit insurance specialist Euler Hermes, the number of company bankruptcies is expected to reach 35% in H1 2021.

The most affected countries include: The United States, Brazil and China with respectively 57%, 45% and 20% increase in the bankruptcy.

The highest number of struggling companies is in Europe, the United Kingdom and Spain with a 45% and 41% increase in business interruption. In France the number of insolvencies is expected to go up by 25%.
