Coronavirus : increasing unemployment insurance claims in the US

Over one week, 3.283 million Americans registered as unemployed compared to 281 000 seven days earlier.

On 25 March 2020, the U.S. Senate allocated 2000 billion USD in aid to the economy, 250 billion USD of which will be devoted to a new federal unemployment insurance.
