Covid-19: latest update

Covid-19While the Omicron variant is spreading at high speed in the world, some European countries are planning to ease sanitary restrictions. This is the case of France which, in the next few days, will go as far as lifting the obligation of the screening test for travelers outside Europe vaccinated against Covid-19.

Other EU countries remain, however, on high alert. This is the case of Austria, which on Saturday, 5 February 2022, became the first country in the EU to make vaccination against Covid-19 mandatory. Italy and Denmark require the presentation of a negative test to enter their territory, even for European travelers.

On the other side of the Atlantic, Canada plans to end lockdowns and ease health restrictions until March 14. In the United States, several states on the East and West coasts decided, earlier this week, to lift the requirement to wear a mask indoors.
