CSA authorizes 16 new foreign brokers to start their activities

The insurance supervision commission (CSA) has drawn up the list of foreign brokers authorized to practice in Algeria.

The list published in the Official Journal No. 21 dated April 26, 2015 consists of 16 brokers including African Reinsurers Brokers (ARB), Atlas Reinsurance Consultants (A.R.C), Lockton (Mena), Chedid Europe Reinsurance Brokers, Nasco Karaoglan France.

The complete list of brokers has been forwarded to all direct insurance companies in the market that may have recourse only to foreign brokerage companies authorized by CSA to place their reinsurance business (treaties and optional).
