Cyber-insurance, a growth factor of non-life insurance in the United States

According to A.M. Best, cyber insurance premiums could reach 20 billion USD by 2020 in the United States.

This upward trend was observed during the year 2016 when sales for this type of risk increased by 34.7% in one year. Nevertheless, the market remains dependent on the industry's loss experience.

The upsurge in IT attacks and the increase in demand for e-insurance coverage are the main growth drivers in the US non life (property and casualty) insurance market.
