Death of Wael Khatib - Lockton MENA

Wael Khatib, Senior Partner and Chairman of Lockton MENA, passed away on September 9, 2019 in Saudi Arabia.

A well-known figure in the insurance industry, W. Khatib joined in 2007 the global leader of private insurance brokerage, to head its MENA operations. He set up Lockton's office in the Dubai International Financial Center in 2009. The group now has six offices in the region. Wael Khatib started his professional career at ADNIC.

He later served as Managing Director for the Middle East & North Africa of the Minet Group. Prior to joining Lockton, he held various senior positions with Lloyd's brokers.
