Decline in the number of life insurance agents

The number of life insurance agents decreased by 116 000 units in 2015. It dropped from 2 159 000 workers in 2014 to 2 043 000 in 2015, a decline of just over 5% in one year.

For life insurers, this network that has significant shortcomings in productivity must be revised. Companies are becoming more demanding in terms of recruitment and profitability.
Note that the number of life insurance agents has been in continuous decline since 2010, when it amounted to three million.
