Discovery's vitality program is expanding internationally
The South African insurer Discovery has partnered with Japanese life insurer Sumitomo Life Insurance and the bank SoftBank Group Corp to have its products distribute in Japan.
The Discovery Vitality product, a program that rewards policyholders having a healthy lifestyle, will be distributed by Sumitomo using technological solutions offered by Soft Bank.
The three partners have also considered the establishment of a health insurance related data basis through which collected information will help to a better pricing of risks.
