Dubai Insurance about to introduce online marine policies

Dubai Insurance Co. (DIC) has signed a partnership agreement enabling it to distribute online marine policies via the portal Calogi. This convention states that all insurance products are proposed for all commodities designed for domestic or international markets. Policies may be underwritten while goods are being transported or while still in the possession of the sender. The portal Calogi, initiated in May 2008, is an internet platform which enables marine market players to carry out their online transactions in due process. More than 500 companies are using Calogi.
