Dublin, headquarters of Everest Re’s European operations

Everest Re has just obtained approval from Irish authorities for the establishment of a non life insurance subsidiary in Dublin. The new entity, due to be run by Stephen Cross, will enable the Bermudan group to have access to post-Brexit European market.

Several other insurers based in the United Kingdom such as Beazley, Admiral and Royal London have chosen Ireland to set up their new European subsidiaries.
