EIC's 2008 results

Emirates Insurance Company (EIC)'s 2008 results display a turnover of 662.9 million AED(180.5 million USD), that is, a 35.5% increase in comparison with 2007 and net profits of 113.4 million AED(30.8 million USD), that is, a 16.6% decrease compared to the previous year.
Despite a 10% increase of its technical results in 2008, EIC has not been able to contain the 23.4% decline in its financial revenues.
