Mohamed Compaoré new president at the APSAB

On 16 July 2021, Mohamed Compaoré, General Manager of Sunu Assurances IARD Burkina Faso, has been elected President of Burkina Faso's professional association of insurance companies (APSAB) for a three-year term. M. Compaoré replaces Abdoulaye Touré in this position.

The seven executives of APSAB include:

• Hadarai Rabo, General Manager of CORIS Assurance IARD, General Treasurer
• Yannick Yves Goungounga, General Manager of Générale des Assurances IARD, Deputy General Treasurer
• Drissa Traoré, Deputy General Manager of SANLAM IARD, Secretary in charge of non-life insurance
• Jean Marie Vianney Beyi, Deputy General Manager of SONAR IARD, Secretary in charge of relations with the supervisory authorities
• M'Po Marie Batienon/Nébié, Deputy General Manager of UAB VIE, Secretary in charge of life insurance.
