Election of eight new directors within Africa Re
On the sidelines of the 40th ordinary general meeting of the African Reinsurance Company Corporation (Africa Re) held from 19 to 21 June 2018 in Conakry (Guinea), eight new directors were elected for a three-year term:
- Kamel Marami, Algerian, to represent Algeria (State and companies)
- Mr. Boubacar Bah, Guinean, representing French-speaking West Africa and Central Africa (States and companies)
- Dr. Mohamed Maait, Egyptian, representing Egypt (State and companies)
- Mr. Hafedh Gharbi, Tunisian, representing Libya, Mauritania and Tunisia (States and companies)
- Mr. Hassan El Shabrawishi, Egyptian, representing AXA
- Mr. Jean Cloutier, Canadian, representing FAIRFAX
- Mr Coenraad Vrolijk, Dutch, representing Allianz
- Mr. Mohamed Kari, Nigerian, representing Nigeria (State and companies)
