Enterprise Group embarks on health insurance

The Ghanaian holding Enterprise Group has announced its intention to operate in the health insurance sector. Keli Gadzekpo, Chief Executive Officer of the group, said that the company had already provided the necessary funds for the implementation of this project.

This information was disclosed during the group's annual general meeting, held recently in Accra.

There are two types of private health insurance plans in Ghana: Private Mutual Health Insurance Scheme (PMHIS) and Private Commercial Health Insurance Scheme (PCHIS). This sector is controlled by the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).

Enterprise Group has been operating in Ghana since 2008. It has five subsidiaries: Enterprise Insurance, Enterprise Life, Enterprise Trustees, Enterprise Properties and Transitions.
