Exclusive partnership between AXA and Western Union

The French insurance giant AXA has signed a strategic partnership with Western United Compagny, as part of its "AXA Emerging Customers" program.

As soon as the agreement was signed, AXA initiated a first pilot project this week, called "Transfer Protect". The users of "westernunion.com", whether immigrants to France or binationals, will now be able to underwrite a life and disability insurance on the platform.

In the event of a claim, the beneficiaries, often people who have remained in their country of origin, shall receive a compensation without regulatory constraints. Such initiative allows AXA to get closer to the 200 million users of the Western Union service.
