Extension of Covid-19 coverage for Indian health staff

In respect to the on-going Covid-19 outbreak, the Indian government is providing a three-month extension of the insurance scheme for health professionals in direct contact with infected patients.

The coverage, which was due in June 2020, goes up to 66 700 USD and compensates hospitalisation and treatment fees for healthcare staff. The coverage is valid for all state healthcare institutions.
