Facebook, a new way to adjust motor insurance tariffs

Admiral Insurance Company is about to launch a new program to adjust the motor tariffs according to the the psychological profiles of the insured.

Called FirstCarQuote, this project allows to consult the Facebook accounts of the insured, monitor their publications and their writings to establish a link between their personality and the way they drive.

According to the British company, this process will identify good drivers who can benefit from a reduction of up to 15% on their motor insurance policies.

For now, the top management of the social network has blocked the launch of this project deemed in contradiction with its rules of usage.
