FAIR twentieth conference

A big turnout for the twentieth conference of the Federation of Afro Asian Insurance which was held in Marrakech from October 17 to 20, 2007 and entitled “opportunities and threats for the member markets”. The conference gathered a total of about 800 delegates coming from 64 African, Asian and European countries.

Set up in 1964, the Federation has 197 members representing 52 markets in Africa, Middle East and Asia. The participants hailed the quality of organisation provided by the Société Centrale de Réassurance (SCR) as well as the level of debate. The next edition will take place in the United Arab Emirates in 2009.
