Saudi Arabia: Families are entitled to the services of two health insurers

The regulators reacted early March to the press  articles published, and according to which the State would penalize the families holding insurance schemes from two different insurers. The authorities stepped in to deny such allegations, confirming that holding a health insurance policy from two different companies by the same family is not illegal. The only obligation in force is the one pertaining to the joint insuring of the employee and relatives with each insurance company.

With a turnover of 18.96 billion SAR (5 billion USD), health premiums jumped by 20% in 2015.
