FANAF Markets Forum 2019

The 5th edition of the Market Forum is being held on 7 and 8 November 2019 in Douala, Cameroon. Organized by the African Federation of Insurance Companies (FANAF), in partnership with Cameroon's Association of Insurance Companies (ASAC), the meeting offers participants a framework for dialogue and exchanges under the theme : "Reexamining the CIMA Treaty, approaches for our markets after 25 years of implementation?"

Four discussion panels have been planned around issues such as:

• The CIMA Treaty, what are the achievements after 25 years of implementation?
• The CIMA treaty testing the changes in the legal and economic ecosystem
• Efficiency, independence and autonomy of the supervisory body and its relays
• Setting up a legislation promising development for the markets and stability for its stakeholders
