Finactu takes part in the creation a national reinsurer in Cameroon

Finactu is in charge of a project aimed to create a national Cameroonian reinsurance company.

Local insurers, the Cameroonian government and a strategic partner are to be in charge of the project.

During the previous years, Cameroon had a national reinsurer, the Caisse Nationale de Réassurance (CNR), which was wound up in 2000.
