Floods in the Middle East: 30 deaths in Jordan

The torrential rain that fell down on the Middle East on October 25, 2018 caused considerable damage to the region. Lebanon, Syria and Jordan were particularly affected by the bad weather.

In Jordan, the collapse of a road 50 kilometers far from the capital Amman killed 30 people, injured 37 others and made more than 25 missing. The majority of the victims are schoolchildren. A school bus carrying 37 pupils and seven chaperones was passing when the road collapsed.
