FNAVM has designed a travel cancellation insurance plan

The National Federation of Moroccan Travel Agencies (FNAVM) has designed a travel cancellation insurance plan for the benefit of customers performing the duty of pilgrimage (Haj) to Mecca. This concept is an unprecedented one in Morocco.
Underwritten by ISAAF Mondial Assistance, the scheme provides for the refund of the whole travel package in case of cancellation as well as the costs non-consumed by the customers in case they came to be rushed home for reasons of extraordinary circumstances.
The premium is of 2% of the travel package amount. Being optional, the insurance applies only to the pilgrims contracting travel agencies.
