Generali carries out a new organizational structure
New appointments at Generali. Taking effect from September 1, 2018 and in accordance with its strategic plan "Horizon 2021" the Italian group has started its reorganizational structure with the appointment of new leaders:
- Frédéric de Courtois joins the new position of general manager directly reporting to the group's CEO, Philippe Donnet,
- Cristiano Borean becomes chief financial officer (CFO). He replaces Luigi Lubelli who is leaving Generali,
- Marco Sesana, Country Manager of Global Business Lines Italy is tasked with supervising the following entities: Global Corporate & Commercial, Generali Employee Benefits and Generali Global Health,
- Jean-Laurent Granier, Country Manager France, takes over as head of the Europe Assistance group,
- Jaime Anchùstegui Melgarejo has been appointed International CEO for Operational Companies and Regions (Americas & Southern Europe, Spain and Switzerland).
