Generali willing to cede its life insurance activities in Germany

As part of the restructuring of its activities in Europe, Generali has asked Morgan Stanley to look for a buyer for its life insurance business in Germany.

The Italian insurer is selling its German subsidiary Generali Leben, which has not sold insurance policies since 2015.
