"GIC Syndicate 1947" will begin operations in April 2018
GIC Re, which was approved in December 2017 to form a syndicate within Lloyd's, will start underwriting business on behalf of the London group from April 2018 onwards.
The management of the syndicate known as "GIC Syndicate 1947" has been entrusted to Pembroke Managing Agency.
Neil Attwood has been named "Active Underwriter" in the new entity.
