Good performance for SONAR-IARD in 2016

Met in a general assembly mid-May 2017, the shareholders of SONAR-IARD, the non-life subsidiary of the Société Nationale d’Assurance et de Réassurance (SONAR)were informed of the 2016 results of the Burkinabe insurer.

SONAR-IARD generated a turnover of more than 12 billion FCFA (19.3 million USD) in 2016, up by 12% in comparison with 2015. The balance sheet total before appropriation of the results amounted to 39.3 billion FCFA (63.2 million USD), an increase of 9.3% compared to the previous year.
