Gulf Insurance Group: results as of 30 September 2021
As of 30 September 2021, Gulf Insurance Group has recorded a 10.6% turnover increase. Written premiums went from 334.3 million KWD (1.106 billion USD) in the first nine months of 2020 to 369.6 million KWD (1.2 billion USD) a year later.
During the period under review, net profit amounted to 44.8 million KWD (148.5 million USD), which represents a strong increase of 242% over one year. This performance reflects the improvement of the group's underwriting and investment results as well as the successful acquisition of AXA's activities in the Gulf.
The company's shareholders' equity increased by 81% to reach 212.4 million KWD (704.2 million USD). The total assets reached 1.4 billion KWD (4.6 billion USD), that is a 74.4% growth.
