Hurricanes Harvey and Irma are affecting the London market

After having recorded a 16% decrease in its result for the first half of 2017, Lloyd's is expecting a more significant decline in the second half because of a devastating hurricane season in the United States.

Hurricanes Harvey and Irma could cost 4.5 billion USD to the London insurer who has already disbursed 400 million USD in compensation to damage generated by these two losses.
