IGIH has reported an overall premium volume of 117 million USD in 2007

International General Insurance Holdings Limited (IGIH) has reported an overall premium volume of 117 million USD in 2007 against 89 million USD in 2006, that is, a 31% increase, and net profits of 20.4 million USD against14.8 million USD in 2006, a 38% rise.
In the fit of this good performance, the group has displayed its will to expand through several projects: the opening some representations at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), the establishment of subsidiary company in Dublin (Ireland) and the acquisition of the marine underwriting agency Bishop Underwriting Limited.
