Road accident AlgeriaAlgerian roads have been deadly during H1 2021 especially after the easing of the lockdown restrictions.

According to Nacer Sais, CEO of the “Société Nationale d’Assurance” (SAA), the number of traffic accidents, throughout the Algerian territory, increased by 30% compared to the same period in 2020.

The National Delegation for Road Safety (DNR) reports 1 292 deaths from January to the end of May 2021, that is 10 deaths and 100 injuries per day.
