Increase of Axa’s capital

The French group Axa has announced the launch of a subscription of 30 million shares at a price set between 10 and 11 EUR (13 and 14 USD).                         This operation, entirely reserved for “collaborating” staff members, allows the insurer to raise its capital by 330 million EUR (433 million USD). Eventually, the group’s staff members will be holding 6.5% of the capital and 7% of the voting rights.
