Inga Beale will quit the Lloyd's in 2019

Lloyd's has announced the departure of its general manager, Inga Beale who will be step down as Chief Executive Officer in 2019, a position she has held since January 2014.

The first woman to manage the Lloyd's of London, Inga Beale has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. She has held managerial positions at Prudential, Zurich Insurance, Converium, ... The exact date of her departure has not yet been revealed.

This announcement was preceded, few months ago, by that of another important figure of the group. John Parry, the Chief Financial Officer of the group, had already announced his departure in early May.

Let's remind that the London group suffered in 2017 a pre-tax loss of 2.3 billion EUR (2.76 billion USD) mainly due to the natural disasters that occurred during the past year.
