Partnership between Jumia, Maroc Assistance Internationale and AtlantaSanad

Jumia, the e-commerce expert in Africa has signed agreements with Maroc Assistance Internationale and AtlantaSanad to provide assistance and accident insurance to its 1500 delivery personnel.

The assistance contract signed between Jumia and Maroc Assistance Internationale includes the following services:

• sanitary transport (urban, interurban)
• An advance for admission to a Moroccan hospital unit up to 10 000 MAD (1 090 USD).
• 24/7 medical assistance hotline
• a contribution of up to 3,000 MAD (327 USD) towards funeral expenses in the event of the insured's death
• Coverage in case of death of the insured in Morocco (administrative formalities, transport of the body from the place of death to the place of burial).

On the other hand, the insurance agreement between Jumia and AtlantaSanad includes:

• a death benefit of 50 000 MAD (5 450 USD)
• permanent disability coverage with a 10% deductible of 50 000 MAD (5 450 USD)
• Coverage of medical and pharmaceutical expenses of 5 000 MAD (545 USD)
